Computer Science at CAS!

Using Blocky and other visual-based languages, we will explore the basics of computer programming to create interactive animations, build programs, practice debugging and problem solving skills while learning the logic of programming. Upper grade students will have the opportunity to use both visual and text-based programming languages.

Why learn programming?

Aside from being fun, learning to code actually makes you smarter and helps you do better in other subject areas like Math, Science, and Language Arts.  Best of all, as you learn programming, you slowly change from being a user of technology to a creator of technology. Knowledge is power!
